Have fun with gingerbread characters!

Colour gingerbread characters and make them into a garland.

During December, as the days get colder and the nights grow longer, we often turn to comfort foods. And who doesn’t love yummy desserts and tasty cookies? The prettiest cookies during the holidays, of course, are cute little gingerbread people.

Activity instructions

  1. Print out one or more of the 10 pictures of gingerbread characters.
  2. Use coloured pencils, crayons or markers to colour them in.
  3. If you like, make a gingerbread garland by taping yarn, ribbon or string between their hands.
  4. Hang up your finished garland, or your individual drawings.
