Test your knowledge of metalworking inside the First Royals of Europe special exhibition.
Metal Masters is a trivia game exploring the relationship between metalworking and the emergence of social hierarchies in southeastern Europe.
Play a round of Metal Masters and discover the wonders of metal through four different periods in ancient Europe. Answer questions while learning about metalworking, and how it transformed ancient societies. As you play, you will level up through the Neolithic, Copper, Bronze, and Iron Ages in Europe.
While playing, you will also interact with and handle reproduction objects and materials found in the exhibition.
Societies advanced quickly once people learned how to extract metal from the ground. Over time, the refinement and control of metalworking contributed to a division of people into social hierarchies. Metalworking technology paved the way for the emergence of social classes, and the rise of Europe’s first kings and queens during the Iron Age.
